Robert F. Renaud is a past President of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys, having formerly served as a Member of the Board of Trustees. He is a Director and Past Chair of the Local Government Law Section of the N.J.S.B.A. A cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, he is a partner in Palumbo Renaud & DeAppolonio, LLC, in Cranford, New Jersey. Admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for N.J., the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, he is Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Bob has served as Municipal Attorney, Board Attorney and Special Litigation Counsel for numerous local government entities, representing municipalities and public employees in tax appeals, tort, civil rights and employment claims and prerogative writ and election matters. He lectures frequently on various municipal law and litigation topics. He has presented seminars offered by N.J.I.C.L.E., N.J.S.B.A., N.J. I.L.G.A., the Bloustein School at Rutgers University and the N.J. Attorney General’s Advocacy Program. He is the instructor for the N.J.I.L.G.A. Diplomate in N.J. Municipal Law Program in Claims against Public Entities.
