An Affiliate of 

The New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys has been an affiliate organization of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities for many decades. Together, the Insitute and the League are vital partners in the development and analysis of public policy affecting all municipalities in New Jersey. The Institute helps to represent the local government attorneys point of view at League meetings such as the League Legislative Committee, the League Affiliate Advisory Group meeting and the League Annual Conference. NJILGA also serves the unique role of reviewing appellate and trial court decisions for possible amicus intervention on behalf of the League. The Institute’s partnership with the League is vital to representing and protecting local government interests across the State, in the legislature and in the courts.
