Celebrating a Successful Fall and Looking Ahead to Spring!

This fall, the Rutgers/NJILGA Diplomate in New Jersey Local Government Law Program continued its mission of advancing municipal law expertise. We are proud to share that we had 55 students enrolled in coursework this fall, gaining valuable insights into local government law from experienced attorneys and licensed professionals. These courses covered a broad range of municipal practice areas.

As we look forward to Spring 2026, the program will offer new courses that not only count toward the Diplomate Certificate but also qualify for New Jersey CLE credits. Program details and the full spring schedule are now available online: https://cgs.rutgers.edu/programs/municipal-attorney-training-program CLE Credit information will be posted when approved.

Whether you’re an experienced local government attorney, newly appointed, or seeking a deeper understanding of municipal law, this cooperative initiative between Rutgers University’s Center for Government Services (CGS) and the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys (NJILGA) is designed to help you succeed.
