A. Michael Rubin

A. Michael Rubin serves as President and Program Chair of the NJILGA. Mr. Rubin is a Partner in the firm of Rubin and Connelly and its predecessor firms and specializes in municipal government law with special emphasis in the field of zoning, planning and land use. He was born in Paterson, NJ and is admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey in 1963; United States Supreme Court in 1979 and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1982. Mr. Rubin served as counsel to and special counsel for boards as well as serving in other legal capacities for governmental agencies in the Borough of Bloomingdale, City of Paterson, Passaic County Board of Social Services, Township of Wayne and the Passaic Valley Water Commission. He serves as Chair of the Zoning and Land Use Committee for the Passaic County Bar Association and formerly serves as General Counsel for the Humane Society of the United States, New Jersey Branch, Inc. Mr. Rubin is a member of Board of Trustees and Counsel to the Wayne Township Senior Citizen’s Housing Corporation
